Mamdouh El Gammal
The late Mr. Mamdouh El Gammal founded the firm in Cairo in 1970. His commitment to legal practice and the development of the profession remains an important part of the firm’s identity.
Alongside his legal work, he mentored lawyers and supported their professional training, contributing to the development of their practice and careers.
The firm continues to draw on that legacy through its emphasis on preparation, independent judgement and professional responsibility.

Managing Partner
Mohamed El Gammal
As Managing Partner, Mohamed El Gammal oversees the firm’s legal work across all its areas of practice. His responsibilities include coordinating matters and teams, supervising the delivery of legal services and maintaining the quality of the firm’s work.
He is responsible for client relationships and the strategic direction of the practice, and heads the corporate and English-language departments.
His own practice includes Labour & Employment Law, corporate and commercial matters, mergers and acquisitions, litigation, intellectual property and legal translation.

Khaled Hassan
Khaled Hassan serves as Counsel and the firm’s administrative manager. In his capacity as vice counsel, he contributes to the review of the firm’s work and its quality standards.
His practice encompasses litigation, mergers and acquisitions, civil and criminal law, sports law, and banking and finance matters.

Azza Abou El Enein
Azza Abou El Enein is Senior Counsel and heads the firm’s Litigation Department. Her responsibilities include reviewing legal work across the firm, alongside her leadership of the litigation practice.
Her practice covers litigation, mergers and acquisitions, civil and criminal law, real estate, banking and finance, and work permit and immigration matters.
